Just taking down my Christmas tree and got a little sentimental thinking about that wonderful Christmas in July that we all spent together. Somehow these ornaments have always been a part of my tree.

I still have all of my Christmas ornaments, too! I think about our Oakcrest Christmas every year when I decorate my tree. My kids don't ask who "VaVeeka" is anymore. :-)

Actually my 3 year old likes to tell stories about how we acquired each of our Christmas ornaments. He has claimed that a couple of these were made in his nursery class. And yes, every year I get the "who's Ace?" comments from some new reader!
Still have mine, too! My daughter figured out "Indigo" pretty quick since it's still my favorite color.
